Mr. Rodriguez serves as an Advisor Emeritus member of the Executive Committee of the State Bar of California International Law Section. On January 28, 2011, he will moderate a panel and present on “Global Personnel Options in a Flat World: the Transfer of Key Personnel to the United States, India and China” as part of a full day program put on by the International Law Section on “Business without Borders in a ‘Flat’ World.”

Mr. Rodriguez is a member of the International Law Section and Intellectual Property Sections of the State Bar of California and of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is deeply committed to his civic duties and is currently serving as Trustee of the Commonwealth Club of California, and is a former member of the San Francisco Unified School District Board of Education.

After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Vermont, Mr. Rodriguez received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School. He is fluent in spoken and written Spanish.
