NEPTUNE CITY, N.J., Feb. 10, 2012 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Leave it to Nylabone®, the makers of safe, healthy chews since 1955, to combine a dog’s two favorite pastimes – playing and eating – into one great new product line: Romp’n Chomp™ Treat Toys. The new line, available in pet specialty stores this spring, makes treats last longer while keeping dogs entertained and promoting safe, healthy chewing.

“Pet parents have made it clear that they want quality, value and safety in their dogs’ play products,” says Mike Connelly, Vice President of Marketing for Nylabone® Products based in Neptune City, N.J. “The new Romp’n Chomp™ Treat Toys are essentially toys which offer unlimited play value, and can also be filled with our natural, made-in-the-USA treats. The marriage of treat and toy helps to extend the value and life of the treats over a longer period of time.”

He adds that filling the durable and long-lasting toys with treats or kibble allows pet parents to use the toys as rewards for training and behavior reinforcement. Furthermore, healthy chewing helps keeps a dog’s teeth in tip-top shape.

Treat Toys Varieties:
The new Freezer Bone features a snap-in Nylabone treat shaped like Nylabone’s classic Souper. Great for teething puppies as well as dogs of all sizes, the bone has fill n’ freeze corners for added fun. Available in two sizes and made in the USA, it encourages appropriate chewing and its ridges help to clean teeth.

The fun and inventive Shish-Ka-Bone is an interchangeable treat holder with chicken flavored nylon ends and nylon center. It features chew disks that slide on to the middle of the toy for added chewing fun. Dogs can’t get the toys apart thanks to the safety lock mechanism that holds the chew disks in place. Providing longer-lasting fun and chewing for powerful chewers, this innovative toy has textured nubs for added dental benefits. It is available in two sizes to suite all size dogs, and replacement disks are available.

The Souper Treat Toy is made to look like Nylabone’s popular Souper, but features a snap-in treat bar. Designed with power-chewers in mind, this new made-in-the-USA treat toy satisfies a dog’s natural chewing instincts.

It spins, it wobbles, it helps clean teeth and massage gums: it’s the rubber Triple Treat Toy! Featuring snap-in Nylabone exclusive treats shaped like the popular Nylabone Souper, this ingenious three-armed toy will keep dogs occupied longer! Made in the USA, it encourages independent play and helps promote good dental health.

What says dog more than fetching a stick? Dogs love retrieving and chewing on sticks, so Nylabone created the rubber Hollow Stick Treat Toy. Like a stick found outside, it’s an easy shape for dogs to grasp, and it provides hours of interactive play and retrieval. This stick, however, has a hollow core that can be filled with a Nylabone Treat Bar. And, like other Nylabone products, chewing on this stick will massage gums and help clean teeth.

The rubber Treat Ball is a versatile toy that’s great for toss-and-play fun. It has shape pockets that can be filled with peanut butter and interior spaces for a variety of Nylabone treats like the Treat Bars, Healthy Edible Chews, or Treat Bits.

Finally, the rubber Wobbler Treat Toy is sure to please all dogs! Fill the center with Nylabone Treat Bars or Healthy Edible Chews. Or, smear the hollows with peanut butter and freeze it for longer-lasting play. With a weighted-bottom, the toy wobbles and is easy to grip yet its space-capsule shape makes for erratic bouncing fun. This is one treat toy that is sure to please!

The new Nylabone® Romp’n Chomp™ Treat Toys and refill treats, disks, bars and treat bits will be available in pet specialty stores this spring, with suggested retail prices ranging from $4.09 to $30.99.

Ted will appear first from 11 a.m. to Noon at the Outdoor Channel Booth #8320 in the Outfitters and Guides Hall (Main Hall) and then again from 1 – 3 p.m. in the Second Floor Cameron Street Lobby of the State Farm Show Complex.

An advocate of hunting and gun-ownership rights, Nugent currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Rifle Association (NRA). He has hosted the Ted Nugent Kamp for Kids, which combines a curriculum of hands-on hunting, conservation, archery and a strong anti-drug message aimed mainly at underprivileged inner-city children. He is a national spokesman for the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program, advocating the “natural highs” to be found in an outdoor lifestyle.

“The future of the shooting sports in this country is in the hands of tomorrow’s outdoorsmen and women. The youth of America must be educated to the wholesome and valued world of hunting and conservation.

ATLANTA, Ga., Feb. 9, 2012 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Sales of Georgia businesses should be much stronger in 2012, predicts C. David Chambless, a top-selling broker and the incoming president of the GABB, the state’s only professional association dedicated to buying and selling businesses.

“For a number of reasons, we expect a strong increase in 2012 in the number of businesses sold,” says Chambless, president of Abraxas Business Services, Inc. “For instance, many business owners have delayed selling their business and retiring for several years; with the stronger economy, many of these owners will sell.

“Further, buyers are working hard to identify, assess, and acquire businesses that will improve their operations, marketing, and cash flow,” observed Chambless. “And, there is some uncertainty about changes in tax laws, given the tightly contested presidential election.”

GABB members represent owners of Georgia businesses and help them determine the value of their business, create a marketing plan and strategy, and identify and qualify buyers while keeping the sale confidential from employees and customers. Many of today’s business buyers are individuals who have decided not to re-enter the work force, but are ready to control their own destiny by purchasing and operating a Georgia business. Many business buyers are also current business owners who saw 2011 as an opportunity to grow their revenues through purchases of a competitor or a strategic partner.

Other 2012 GABB officers are:
- Vice President: Matt Slappey, owner of the Decatur branch of Murphy Business and Financial Corporation;
- Secretary: Tom Burdick of BEK Brokers, LLC;
- Treasurer: Gareth Young a principal with Abraxas Business Services, Inc.;
- Directors: Mike MacManus, a business transaction specialist with ConsultKAP;

CHARDON, Ohio, Feb. 9, 2012 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Anytime Collect (anytimecollect.com) by e2b software is now available as a unique private label member service for trade and professional association affinity programs. Anytime Collect helps association business members to effectively manage their accounts receivable and collections process improving cash flow while reducing bad debt write-offs. The online software connects to popular business accounting systems and provides a recurring, non-dues revenue stream for associations.

“Many associations are suffering from a decline in membership,” said e2b software President Lynne Henslee. “Some blame the economy and others think it’s due to poor marketing but research indicates that it’s primarily due to members not seeing value in their membership. This hurts retention and stagnates membership growth.”

“Adding a private label accounts receivable collections solution as a member benefit has tremendous value for associations – especially those targeting business members engaged in manufacturing, distribution, services, construction, and other industries that are notoriously bad at managing their accounts receivable and typically sell on credit terms,” said Henslee.

While most association business members sell on 28-day credit terms, national statistics indicate that it takes 60 days for most companies to collect on invoices. Automating collections can improve days sales outstanding (DSO) by an average of 20% which translates to receiving money 12 days faster.

Members who are small business owners, with untrained, part-time, or no staff, can take advantage of automation that builds a queue of phone calls to be made while automating the delivery of hundreds (even thousands) of personalized collections emails and dunning letters in minutes rather than the hours it would take to do this manually.

With pricing comparable to many cell phone bills, association members can quickly automate the most tedious and redundant aspects of collecting on receivables while strengthening the health and cash flow of their business. Contact e2b software at (440) 352-4700 ext. 229 or via email at sales@e2bsoft.com for more information regarding special pricing for trade associations and revenue-generating royalty programs.

About e2b software:
Anytime Collect integrates with popular accounting software enabling finance professionals to reduce outstanding receivables, track collections activities, automate communications, forecast payments, and effectively manage disputes.

FAIRMONT, W.Va., Feb. 8, 2012 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Backbone Security, the market leader in advanced digital steganography detection and hidden information extraction tools, is pleased to announce availability of the newest version of Steganography Analyzer Artifact Scanner, StegAlyzerAS, their industry leading application for detecting 1,025 digital steganography applications.

A unique feature of StegAlyzerAS is the capability to process the Windows registry to detect keys and values associated with steganography applications. A steganography application can be uninstalled and the files and folders associated with the application can be deleted; however, there may keys or values in the registry that would indicate the associated steganography application had been installed on the computer at one time.

StegAlyzerAS v3.8 features enhanced Windows registry scanning capability that substantially decreased the time required to scan an offline Windows registry.

Bart Guerreri, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Backbone Security, said “We are sensitive to the time it takes forensics examiners to process the ever growing amount of digital storage media. Accordingly, we are very pleased to offer a new version of StegAlyzerAS that features a significant reduction in the time required to scan a Windows-based computer.”

StegAlyzerAS is a member of the StegAlyzer family of products developed in Backbone’s Steganography Analysis and Research Center (SARC). Other products in the StegAlyzer family include the Steganography Analyzer Signature Scanner (StegAlyzerSS) and Steganography Analyzer Real-Time Scanner (StegAlyzerRTS).

StegAlyzerSS detects more signatures of steganography applications than any other commercially available product and provides a unique “point-click-and-extract” interface to extract hidden information.

StegAlyzerRTS is the world’s only commercially available network security appliance capable of detecting steganography in real time in the inbound and outbound network traffic stream.

For additional information about digital steganography and the StegAlyzer family of products, please visit www.sarc-wv.com or send email to sarc@backbonesecurity.com.

About the SARC:
The SARC was established to create and maintain a national repository of digital steganography applications, fingerprints, and signatures that can be used during forensic examination of seized digital storage media or when monitoring network traffic for malicious insider behavior. The Steganography Application Fingerprint Database (SAFDB) is the world’s largest database exclusive to digital steganography applications.

About Backbone Security:
In addition to being the leading provider of digital steganalysis tools, Backbone is a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) that conducts automated PCI-DSS compliance assessments with their industry leading One-Stop PCI Scan service.

AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 8, 2012 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Bio-Medical Services has received USDA approval and is now offering allergy drop immunotherapy as an alternative method for administering allergy treatment for pet allergy patients. An in-house pilot study is now underway, and preliminary findings are expected in the Fall of 2012.

“With two options for immunotherapy, we can now better tailor treatment to the temperament of the patient, and lifestyle of the pet owner,” says Dr. Susan Keesee, Chief Scientific Officer at Bio-Medical Services. “This will allow more patients to receive the allergy treatment they need.”

Bio-Medical Services has been following the use of sublingual immunotherapy (allergy drops) in humans as an alternative method for administering allergy treatment. Allergy drops have been widely used in Europe, and are now gaining favor in the U.S.; the first randomized trial in humans was conducted in 1986 with proven efficacy. In a 2010 study conducted by the University of Wisconsin Veterinary School, sublingual immunotherapy was shown to be effective in reducing symptoms and allergen-specific IgE levels in dogs as well (*Note 1). Allergy drops are now being offered for canine allergy treatment by a select few veterinary teaching hospitals. “Because of its proven efficacy in humans, and early success shown in canines, we feel confident that sublingual immunotherapy is a safe and effective treatment modality,” says Keesee.

As the gap between human and veterinary medicine narrows, Bio-Medical Services remains in the forefront of serum allergy testing and treatment, providing the most current and effective medicine for pet allergy patients. Bio-Medical Services has achieved many “firsts” in the care of pet allergies. They were the first to offer ELISA serum testing for canine, feline and equine patients.

In 2004, Bio-Medical services was the first to introduce the practice of separating mold, mite and insect allergens into separate treatment from pollen, fiber and epithelia allergens to the veterinary field – following the convention used in human allergy treatment. Currently, Bio-Medical Services is the only laboratory to offer five treatment protocols based on the patient’s age, weight, breed, species, and clinical history. And now with two options for administering immunotherapy, patients receive even more customized and effective care for pet allergies.

Countless written communications are created without much thought because of deadlines and other pressures, even though most companies know that understandable, reader-friendly, and targeted communication is essential.

Customer-friendly letters and emails are a goal for most companies. Corporate language and communication have become extremely important in the marketplace. Companies today strive for customer friendly communication. The goal: Quality documents across the board. How can that be realized?

Legibility, standardization, diversity, and emotional content determine the success of written communication. Pintexx, a software publisher, has developed a unique Microsoft(R) Word Add-In that includes these four dimensions. The software is for all areas of communication and all sectors, including manufacturing, retail, schools and universities, insurance and finance, and government agencies.

The 4D Wording Optimizer informs the user about strengths and weaknesses of a particular text and evaluates the text according to the four quality dimensions. The software delivers suggestions and alternatives. Company requirements and standards for written communication can easily be included in the software and thereby implemented more effectively. A multitude of useful functions helps to write more effective and efficient communication. Clear visualizations provide information about repetitions, the use of passive words, long sentences, comprehension, and if the communication reaches the reader on his or her level, among other things.

Pintexx has been able to create a unique and helpful tool based on the proven standards of the Corporate Wording(R) strategy and the 4-Color approach, as certified by Hans-Peter Forster, founder of Corporate Wording(R) and expert for corporate communication. For that reason the 4D Wording Optimizer has received the “CW Inside” certificate.

LOS ANGELES, Calif., Feb. 7, 2012 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — With the end of the world scheduled to take place later this year, G-Man Marketing (gmanmarketing.com) is partnering with its clients to offer special reduced rates in public relations, songwriting, audio mixing and mastering, radio advertising, graphic design, live music promotion, music distribution, and more.

“No matter how the world concludes this year, whether from Galactic Alignment, the Mayan Calendar, Nostradamus, or some cataclysmic combination, we will all be there for you with special reduced rates on the services you will need to get your business started again,” states John Scott G from G-Man Marketing.

In a promotional event called “Lower the BOOM on Prices,” G-Man Marketing and their clients “will lower pricing by 12% starting 02.12.12,” G says. “While many marketing companies raised their pricing this year by 15% or more, we took the opposite approach. We chose 02.12.12 to start the promo, as it’s one digit lower than 12.12.12, which is our way of being optimistic.”

G continues, “Additionally, a second part of the promotion will run from the ‘end of the world’ all the way through to the end of the year.” Among the offers that will apply from December 21 to 31, 2012, are the following: G-Man Marketing will provide public relations services for free. Send2Press.com (a service of Neotrope(R)) will disseminate the media announcements for free. Country artist Sandra Piller will sell her album at half price. Country songwriter Jane Bach will co-write a song for free. Matt Forger will mix and master a song for one-third off.

Sheena Metal, host on LATalkRadio, will create a radio commercial for your product. In addition, her Carnyville live music event will let your band play two sets for free, “even if all your fans have expired,” notes Ms. Metal.

Goodnight Kiss Music is offering half off music consultations. Robin Hood Music offers free song downloads. Phil Hatten Design will create a logo for free. FookMovie will create a free music video. And a spokesperson for Golosio, the music publishing firm, says “We will pitch your song to whatever film and TV projects are still available, although they probably will just be basic cable.”

Some restrictions apply for the second part of the promotion only: “First, the world must actually come to an end on or about December 21,” G said. “Second, you’ll have to figure out how to get in touch with us during the ten days in question because we’ve had no assurances from the phone companies that they’ll be doing anything at that time except figuring out how to charge you for unused minutes.”

For more information about all the firms and individuals in this story, please contact John Scott G of G-Man Marketing. “Please remember,” G states, “the world may end but good hype is forever.”
