<p>With locations in Miami and Colombia, Gems Group is a team of dedicated professionals with a passion for marketing fresh cut flowers that are sold throughout the United States at fine grocery retailers.</p>
<p>Specializing in assisting U.S.-based companies with divisions and operations in Latin America purchase and implement ERP solutions, Southeast Computers Solutions President Sonia Ferrera said that Gems Group selected Sage ERP X3 because it immediately provides them with a web-enabled, feature rich, and Spanish language software (Sage ERP X3 supports multiple languages).</p>
<p>The open technology design of Sage ERP X3 provides full independence between the functional and the technical layer. End users may access the system via the web while the data server can take advantage of Microsoft SQL Server database &#8211; this was important to Gems as they have the ability to integrate Sage ERP X3 with other SQL-based applications.</p>
<p>Gems will also use the user-defined dashboards of Sage ERP X3 to provide up-to-the-minute graphical representations of key business data. </p>

<p>The poll, available at <a href="http://ltcguild.ning.com/page/election-poll" class="autohyperlink" title="http://ltcguild.ning.com/page/election-poll" target="_blank">http://ltcguild.ning.com/page/election-poll</a>, simply asks, &#8220;Which candidate, Barack Obama or the Republican choice, is more likely to promote new federal incentives to help Americans afford private long-term care insurance?&#8221;</p>
<p>Originated by LTC Financial Partners, a national long-term care insurance agency, the poll can now be accessed through the <a href="http://ltcguild.ning.com/page/election-poll">LTC Guild website</a>.</p>
<p>Why the poll? &#8220;It&#8217;s not just to take the pulse of the public,&#8221; says Dick Samson, director of the LTC Guild. &#8220;We want to influence the candidates. When President Obama and the Republican choice see the poll results, they could start taking the LTC issue more seriously.&#8221;</p>
<p>The majority of senior Americans lack long-term care insurance, Samson points out. &#8220;As part of the Affordable Care Act, there was going to be a public option for LTC insurance, but that&#8217;s been shelved. Now private insurance is the only LTC insurance option, but millions shrink from the cost. &#8220;New tax breaks could change that, &#8220;but the candidates aren&#8217;t talking about it.&#8221;</p>
<p>Millions of senior voters could tip the election one way or the other, Samson asserts. &#8220;They and their families deserve to know where the candidates stand.&#8221;</p>
