ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., March 1, 2012 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Accessories Unlimited, an automotive accessory and installation provider, proudly announced this week that it is the recipient of Celebration Media’s, “Talk of the Town” award for excellence in customer satisfaction.

“This is the second year in a row we have been bestowed this honor,” says Ray Moreau, owner of Accessories Unlimited. “We are excited to share this information with our loyal customers who have made it possible.”

According to Celebration Media, only companies that provide the highest level of customer service, as reported by their customers through no-cost, user-review websites, blogs, social networks and business-rating services, are awarded this honor.

To determine award recipients, a dedicated team of researchers spent more than 6,000 hours analyzing customer experiences and rating each company or professional using their star ratings’ system – CMUS Power Ratings(TM). Only those with a four to five-star rating received the award.

Moreau attributes the company’s four-star rating to its attention to people and detail.

“Most of my installers have been with us for 10 to 18 years,” says Moreau. “My staff is both experienced and passionate about what they do. They have deep product knowledge and never talk down to customers. We offer a very different experience from the big box stores. We establish a relationship of trust with our customers. In addition, we believe we are the only shop to offer a limited, lifetime-labor warranty.”

Just 15 years ago, the average age of a vehicle was 8.4 years; today, it has hit nearly 11 years, according to a new study by Polk, an automotive data and marketing-solutions leader. And, with the public keeping their vehicles longer, they are seeking reliable, professional product and service providers to refresh them and add function, safety and styling features rather than face a new car payment.

“For instance, a recent customer had no idea that he could get a brand new, leather interior for $1,200 – that’s about two new car payments,” says Moreau.

About Accessories Unlimited:
In business since 1985, Accessories Unlimited is an automotive accessory shop that supports car dealers and the general public. It sells and installs accessories that add function, safety, style and value. Popular accessories include: leather interiors; sunroofs; electronics; back-up cameras; navigation systems; cruise controls; tube steps; grill guards; tool boxes, tonneau covers and much more. It also does performance upgrades.

Prices are the most competitive and quality installation is the key.

FARMINGTON, N.M., Aug. 16, 2011 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Each Labor Day Weekend Native American craftsmen meet near the confluence of the Animas, La Plata and San Juan Rivers in Farmington, N.M. for the Totah Festival. “We gather for friendship,” says George Francis, Totah Festival Foundation Board President, “and we come to sell arts and crafts before the winter comes to the Four Corners.” Farmington, a Four Corners center of trade, lies in a river valley which the Navajos once called Totah, “the place where rivers meet.”

The Totah Festival is a Native American fine arts and crafts show and marketplace with an authentic Indian rug auction, and displays of the best work of more than 100 artisans from the Four Corners. A contest pow-wow is held on the front lawn of the Farmington Civic Center. Many of the artisans demonstrate their skills for the crowd which numbers 10,000 over the two days. The September festival has drawn native weavers, sculptors, jewelers, potters and carvers to Farmington for over two decades.

Farmington has long been a focal point for trading Southwestern Indian wares. It’s a place where collectors and admirers of authentic Indian crafts go to find fine goods at affordable prices from emerging artists.

“Because we want to get the word out to buyers from around the country about Totah, this year we have produced a film that catches the flavor of this colorful festival,” explains Debbie Dusenbery, Executive Director of the Farmington Convention and Visitors Bureau. See it here http://totahfestival.farmingtonnm.org . Dusenbery also sits the board Totah Festival Foundation.

The Totah Festival this year opens on Saturday, September 3, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Farmington Civic Center, 200 W. Arrington in Farmington’s historic downtown. It continues on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The picturesque Pow Wow on the Civic Center lawn continues until 6 p.m. on Sunday.

More information about this region’s native craftsman, trading posts, galleries and special events can be found through the Farmington Convention and Visitors Bureau at http://www.farmingtonnm.org or call 800-448-1240, for questions about accommodations and the many things to see and do in the Four Corners area.

The dry and temperate high-altitude climate permits year-round fishing, four wheeling, golfing, hiking and biking through a spectacular landscape of canyons, mesas, and unusual hoodoos formations.

Dusenbery adds: “Farmington is known as a sporting playground. In recent years, we have begun to host sizeable outdoor events like The Four Corners Xterra Triathlon coming up in June.”

Farmington lies in the heart of the Four Corners near the spot where Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado meet. Three rivers, the Animas, the La Plata and the San Juan merge in its town center.

Top attractions for outdoor recreation fans in the Farmington area include:
* Fly fishing along the Quality Waters of the San Juan River draws fly-fishing enthusiasts from around the world to catch and release big trout.
* OHV buffs hit the trails in the Glade Run Recreation Area where trails wind past boulders, slick rock, and through foothills dotted with Juniper and Pinon. Separate areas are set aside for rock crawling, hiking and mountain biking.
* Animas and Berg Parks bordering the Animas River in Farmington have riverside and woodland trails for walkers, bicyclists, equestrians and bird watchers. In this area, the Animas is slow moving, a good place for canoeing and rafting.
* Fantastic windsurfing in 75-degree water year-round on Morgan Lake, the cooling pond for Arizona Public Service Power Plant is a destination for wind surfers anytime but the winds in spring are legendary.

Farmington also offers one of the most challenging and affordable municipal golf courses in the country. Pinon Hills Golf Course is perennially rated by Golfweek Magazine as one the best municipal golf courses in the United States.

As the commercial hub in the Four Corners, Farmington has a wide range of lodging, restaurants and retail shopping. B & B’s include the Silver River Adobe Inn operated by biker and birder Diana Olsen and her husband and Kokopelli’s Cave, a luxury B & B in a cave dwelling. Several attractive motels border the Animas River. For a list, check the Bureau website http://www.farmingtonnm.org/ or call 1-800-448-1240.

SANTA FE, N.M. -- Does the brain you were born with have to be the brain you end up with? If you can improve the function of every major organ in the body, why can't you upgrade the function of your brain? Those fundamental questions were the motivation that led Kelly Howell to create Brain Sync.

SANTA FE, N.M. (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Does the brain you were born with have to be the brain you end up with? If you can improve the function of every major organ in the body, why can’t you upgrade the function of your brain? Those fundamental questions were the motivation that led Kelly Howell to create Brain Sync.

With over 2 million audio programs in print, Kelly Howell’s clinically proven Brainwave Therapy is used in prestigious hospitals, clinics and by physicians and psychologists throughout the world. This breakthrough technology can literally help reboot and reprogram the brain to achieve a higher level of focus, creativity and intelligence.

Howell’s breakthrough Brain Synchronizing Technology, based on extensive biofeedback research, uses harmonically layered frequencies embedded in beautiful music to produce a deeply pleasurable, transformational body-mind experience. Brainwave Therapy balances right and left sides of the brain to literally optimize its efficiency and function.

According to Howell, “It’s now possible to enhance your brain’s ability to think better and faster.” Science has long known that mental beliefs can impact physical reality. Howell went on to explain, “How our brain perceives the world and the situations around us effects how we respond; positively or negatively, with action or inaction.”

Howell believes the current economic situation “requires us to sharpen our skills, awareness and our abilities to a far greater degree so we can succeed in these challenging times.”

Today’s information overload can cause your brain function to freeze up just like a computer that is running too many programs. According to Howell, “The brain is the often the key to a person’s reality. Just like exercise increases muscle mass and strength, Brain Sync promises to do the same with the brain.”

Evolution will ultimately lead to a more conscious brain/mind. But, Howell believes, “You can take that evolutionary step today with these clinically proven CD’s and MP3′s.” She adds, “Your brain is the front door to change. When you improve its function you improve your entire life.”

To experience the power of Brain Sync, Howell offers a free 15 minute brain refresher and guided meditation. For more information on Howell’s Brainwave Therapy, visit www.brainsync.com or contact info@brainsync.com .
