At their semiannual event in downtown Denver, DETC executive director Mike Lambert opened the workshop by stressing the importance of making education affordable to all. During their “K-Day” event last Tuesday, CalUniversity CEO and Co-Chairman Dr. Shaan Kumar welcomed former personal physician to Malcolm Forbes and now global investor Dr. Khalil BineBine to CalUniversity. During the event Dr. Kumar presented Dr. BineBine with the schools 2010 “Quality Service Excellence Award” for his leadership in business and philanthropic work throughout the world.

Dr. BineBine, Vice Chairman of the Vickers Capital Group, oversees the group’s investor relations.
