PHILADELPHIA, Pa., Feb. 21, 2012 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- E'shee Clinical Esthetic announced this week a new addition to its product line of skin serums - Elixir of Life KI Therapy Serum - designed to deliver ultimate skin rejuvenation.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa., Feb. 21, 2012 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — E’shee Clinical Esthetic announced this week a new addition to its product line of skin serums – Elixir of Life KI Therapy Serum – designed to deliver ultimate skin rejuvenation.

This new skin care product is based on a combination of stem cell and infrared nanotechnology. It is the most potent skin care formula that combines gene therapy (FGF-1 peptide) and Far Infrared Powder (FIR) to rejuvenate and restore the beauty of damaged or aging skin.

This new Elixir of Life Serum helps to activate the body’s stem cells to repair damaged tissue and skin regeneration.

“Results are proven. The FGF-1 peptide – the stem cell activator – helps to increase new skin cell growth at least 10-20 times faster than with other skin care products,” says Nataly Giter, founder, E’shee Clinical Esthetic.

Elixir of Life is ideal for people with circulation problems due to external factors such as pollution, and physical problems due to illness, medications or smoking. It works to repair dark circles and broken capillaries; delays the overall skin aging process through skin repair and re-growth; and also works to properly heal and repair scar tissue.

People of all ages – men and women – will see physical results within 30 days. Skin will be healthier and firmer with a smoother and more even skin tone.

“Ultimately, this new product helps to restore blood flow; aids with toxin removal; repairs broken capillaries; and reverses skin damage. We are very excited to offer this to anyone wishing to dramatically improve their skin care,” says Giter.

About E’shee Clinical Esthetic:
E’shee was launched in 2009 by Nataly Giter, a hands-on skin care professional with more than 20 years of experience. Through research and practical experience, she learned about the most effective ingredients for advanced skin care and became associated with Dr. Chiu, a professor from Ohio University and the first global pioneer to clone the human FGF-1 gene.

Together with Dr. Chiu and their combined connections to industry professionals, they utilized FGF-1 to create an extraordinary anti-aging product line, using 99 percent pure FGF-1 peptide – the best quality available outside of the human body.

The new renewable energy mix contains 99 percent PA wind power, of which 25 percent wind is sourced from the newly developed Highland Wind farm in Cambria County, PA.

The Energy Co-op also sources 1 percent of its renewable energy from PA solar power, the majority of which is located on the rooftops of the cooperative’s own members in southeastern PA.

“We continually strive to offer our members the highest quality product on the market,” said Jossi Fritz-Mauer, Co-Director at The Energy Co-op. “I’m proud to offer our members electricity from the best technology that exists within our geographic footprint, so that ultimately we provide the strongest support for the further development of renewable energy.”

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting Pennsylvania renewable energy, The Energy Co-op helped launch the Choose PA Wind (www.choosepawind.com) initiative. Choose PA Wind was created to encourage energy consumers in the state to power their businesses and homes with energy from PA wind farms.

The Energy Co-op is a long-time supporter of local, renewable energy, and has been providing a 100 percent renewable electricity product since 2006. In 2010, the organization made the commitment to exclusively purchase power generated in PA and decided to further this effort by participating in the Choose PA Wind initiative.

Consumers in the PECO service territory can receive 100 percent Pennsylvania renewable electricity from The Energy Co-op at a fixed rate of 10.25 cents per kWh. There is also a 20 percent Pennsylvania renewable electricity option for 9.79 cents per kWh. Electricity shoppers can learn more and sign up by visiting http://www.theenergy.coop .

About The Energy Cooperative:

PHILADELPHIA, Pa., Nov. 7, 2011 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — In a letter to Texas Governor Rick Perry, 27 exonerated ex-death row survivors – all members of the group Witness to Innocence – urged the governor to halt the execution of Hank Skinner and allow for DNA testing in his case. Skinner, who was sentenced to death for a 1995 triple murder, has a scheduled execution date of November 9.

“We, the undersigned, are alive today because some individual or small group of individuals decided that our insistent and persistent proclamations of innocence warranted one more look before we were sent to our death by execution. We are among the 138 individuals who have been legally exonerated and released from death rows in the United States since 1973, and some of us were exonerated because of DNA evidence,” the exonerees said in the letter. The group also reminded Perry that he signed SB 122 into law, a measure which is intended to ensure that DNA will be tested, if available, to prove someone’s innocence.

In a recent op-ed in the Huffington Post, Witness to Innocence member Kirk Bloodsworth, the first DNA exoneree in a capital conviction in the U.S., echoed these sentiments. “The only reason my name was cleared, and the right man brought to justice, is because prosecutors agreed to test the evidence. I am living proof that when scientific evidence is available, there is simply no excuse to refuse testing,” he said.

“Like Troy Davis in Georgia, there are some real questions regarding the Hank Skinner case. The state of Texas does not know whether Skinner committed the crime because they did not test his DNA,” said David A. Love, Executive Director of Witness to Innocence. “If Texas doesn’t want to risk killing a potentially innocent man, then Gov. Perry has no choice but to stop the execution and allow for the DNA test.”

If you would like to schedule an interview with Kirk Bloodsworth or Ray Krone, another DNA exoneree, contact Hooman Hedayati at 201-601-7231 or Kathy Spillman at 267-847-1482.

About Witness to Innocence:
The mission of Witness to Innocence is to empower exonerated ex-death row prisoners and their family members to become effective leaders in the movement to abolish the death penalty.

The mission of Witness to Innocence, the nation’s only organization founded by and for exonerated death row survivors, is to empower exonerated ex-death row prisoners and their family members to become effective leaders in the movement to abolish the death penalty.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa., Oct. 21, 2011 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — The Energy Cooperative, a member-owned nonprofit, announced today the delivery of their 10 millionth gallon of biodiesel blended fuel. The delivery went to Krapf Bus Companies, a local private bus contractor for school districts. These 10 million gallons of biodiesel blends have resulted in the use of nearly 1.5 million gallons of domestically-produced fuel and significant emission reductions for many regulated pollutants. Among them, nearly 11,300 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions have been reduced. This is the equivalent of planting more than 260,000 trees or taking 2000 cars off the road for an entire year.

Krapf Bus Company, the country’s 8th largest private bus contractor, provides transportation needs to school districts, municipalities, and private entities. Since 2008, The Energy Co-op has provided Krapf with biodiesel blends, a blend of pure biodiesel and ultra-low sulfur diesel, which is used in school buses for the school districts of West Chester Area, Downingtown Area, Coatesville Area, Twin Valley and the Chester County Intermediate Unit. Krapf was the winner of the inaugural “Go Yellow, Go Green Award” given to a leader in the school bus industry who has demonstrated superior commitment in pursuing positive responses to growing environmental concerns.

“All of our partners should be commended for the leadership they are showing by using local biodiesel to displace petroleum,” said Jossi Fritz-Mauer, Co-Director for The Energy Co-op. “It’s incredibly gratifying as a nonprofit to reach this milestone and displace so much petroleum with cleaner burning biodiesel, which we source from Pennsylvania and local waste products.”

The Energy Co-op Biodiesel Distribution Program delivered its first gallon of biodiesel blends to Great Valley School District in 2006. With the help of Pennsylvania’s Department of Environmental Protection’s Alternative Fuels Incentive Grant (AFIG) program, which covers the added cost of using biodiesel blends, Great Valley became the first school district in the Commonwealth to use biodiesel. Since then, The Energy Co-op has grown to assist over a dozen other area school districts in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties in their transition to biodiesel. In total, over 90,000 students ride nearly 1,300 vehicles powered by biodiesel blended fuel.

“We partnered with The Energy Cooperative who helped us through the grant process and supplied us with our fuel,” said Michael Detwiler, Supervisor of Transportation for the Great Valley School District. “This was a seamless changeover and we experienced no problems operating over 60 school buses on biodiesel. We need to leave a cleaner environment for the next generations and this is just one of the many ways we can do this.”

To meet this goal, The Energy Co-op purchases its biodiesel from an in-state producer who uses locally collected waste-greases in its feedstock. By prioritizing a local, sustainable product, The Energy Co-op helps spur the local economy and create green jobs.

Besides the environmental and economic benefits of using biodiesel, school districts are able to improve the quality of air exposed to school children. Carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, particulates, and a myriad of other harmful chemicals, including known carcinogens, are all lowered when using biodiesel blends to displace conventional diesel fuel.

The Energy Cooperative, a member-owned nonprofit, was founded by the Mt. Airy food co-op Weaver’s Way in 1979 as a heating oil co-op. Since then, The Energy Co-op has grown to offer residential and commercial members access to renewable electricity, as well as biodiesel to commercial fleets. The mission of The Energy Co-op is to provide members access to renewable energy at a cost savings. The Energy Co-op is a full-service, licensed Class I Distributor in Pennsylvania supplying biodiesel at any blend level.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa., Sept. 26, 2011 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — The Energy Cooperative, a member-owned nonprofit, announced today the official launch of Clean Heat, an initiative to educate and encourage consumers to use Bioheat – a blend of biodiesel and standard heating oil. Since the original creation of the initiative in February 2011, 1,000 additional members signed on to use Bioheat, bringing total member carbon dioxide reductions to over 1 million pounds in 2011. This is the equivalent of the emissions produced by a car driving 41 times around the earth.

This initiative comes at a time when oil prices are at historic highs. Oil prices are $1.00 higher than they were this time last year. With the volatility of the oil market, members of The Energy Co-op purchasing either Bioheat or standard heating oil can take advantage of the fixed margins negotiated by the Heating Oil Program staff. This past heating season, members saved an average of $0.25 per gallon compared to the state retail average.

Along with being competitively priced, Bioheat offers many advantages to the heating oil consumer. It is produced domestically, which supports local jobs and reduces America’s dependence on foreign oil. Additionally, Bioheat reduces air emissions like carbon monoxide, particulates, and smog forming compounds, improving the air quality around the home. Finally, no additional modifications are required for existing oil burners or tanks. Users purchasing standard heating oil can switch to Bioheat on their next delivery.

To kick off the Clean Heat initiative, The Energy Co-op launched a Clean Heat video contest. Members compete by submitting videos sharing their experience using Bioheat. The Energy Co-op will use the member videos as a way to promote use of the product and create general awareness of this alternative fuel by connecting potential users to current users. The contest will conclude on October 20, 2011.

“Bioheat is an excellent way to heat your home and protect the environment. Best of all, through The Energy Cooperative, members can have access to this premium product at a competitive price,” stated Krystal Eason, Marketing Coordinator for The Energy Co-op.

Members of The Energy Co-op agree. Kathy Bernardin of Pottstown, PA uses a 5 percent blend level of biodiesel to heat her home and commented that the organization “provides trusted guidance to those that care about the environment while providing a cost savings.”

After discovering members lacked awareness or knowledge of Bioheat despite the fact that The Energy Co-op has been offering it to members since 2006, Clean Heat was developed as a way for the organization to educate their members on what Bioheat is, where it comes from and how they could benefit from it.

For consumers interested in becoming a member of The Energy Cooperative and switching to Bioheat, visit their website at www.TheEnergy.Coop or call 215-413-2122.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa., Aug. 3, 2011 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — E’shee Clinical Esthetic introduces the next step in anti-aging skin care – White Truffle Radiance Cream – an amazingly powerful skin anti-oxidant. This supremely elegant formula combines the finest bioengineering technologies, and offers skin the most effective anti-oxidant protection and luxurious brightening action ever experienced in skincare formulation.

The natural progression of the aging process is due to cellular degeneration. Today it is widely accepted that the loss of collagen in aged skin results not only from the reduced synthesis but also due to its enhanced degradation triggered by free radicals. The repeated free radical exposure induces wrinkling of the skin, sagging of the skin, and DNA damage.

And, while many UV filters and anti-wrinkle products are offered, there are only a few products available that protect collagen – the major structural component of the skin’s connective tissue.

“Ancients understood the benefits of the white truffle – the elite of the truffle world. In early Eastern civilizations, the white truffle was not only a valued food, but also revered for its strong medicinal value. Today, we can explain this value from a scientific point of view,” says Nataly Giter, founder, E’shee Clinical Esthetic.

Research reveals that the white truffle is one of the planet’s richest sources of B vitamins – also known as “the beautifiers.” Vitamin B complex provides oxygenation to the skin, improves blood circulation and toxin removal, controls cell formation and cell life span. B-5 reduces stress and yields a smooth and lustrous skin. It also plays a key role in skin hydration, anti-aging, moisture retention and, where needed, hinders acne formation.

Truffle extracts are an excellent source of Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) – one of the most powerful cellular antioxidants. SOD is naturally occurring in the body, but it declines dramatically with age. SOD enzymes provide exceptional cellular protection against free radicals while offering anti-inflammatory properties and ultimately slowing down the aging process.

About E’shee Clinical Esthetic:
E’shee was launched in 2009 by Nataly Giter, a hands-on skin care professional with more than 20 years of experience. Through research and practical experience, she learned about the most effective ingredients for advanced skin care and became associated with Dr. Chiu, a professor from Ohio University and the first global pioneer to clone the human FGF 1 gene.

Together, with their combined connections to industry professionals, they utilized FGF 1 to create an extraordinary anti-aging product line, using 99 percent pure FGF 1 peptide – which has the best quality in the world.

(SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — In their efforts in the battle against childhood cancer, Harvest Squeeze Lemonade will celebrate the National Rollout of the brand at the Marathon Restaurants in Center City Philadelphia. From Monday June 28 through Friday July 2, 2010 Harvest Squeeze Lemonade and Marathon will run a week of fundraising to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF). Marathon will host a series of special events and promotions to raise funds for the foundation dedicated to finding a cure for all kids with cancer. While Marathon’s 1818 Market location will play host to a series of fundraising events, all six Marathon locations will donate all revenue generated by lemonade sales to ALSF during the fundraising week.

To kick off the week of fundraising events, Alex’s parents Liz and Jay Scott will be joined by local childhood cancer heroes for lunch at Marathon’s 1818 Market location on Monday, June 28. The families will enjoy Marathon’s Limonata (lightly sparkling) version of Harvest Squeeze Lemonade as well as special lemonade inspired meals. A portion of the sale of each special meal will be donated to ALSF.

The very next day, Tuesday, June 29, Marathon will host an extended version of their Kids’ Happy Hour. From 5-7 p.m. All children in attendance will enjoy live entertainment, half priced kids’ meals, and takeaway gifts for lemonade purchases. Sticking with the theme of Alex’s Lemonade Stand, there will also be a special story time reading of Alex and the Amazing Lemonade Stand.

To cap off the week of fundraising festivities, Marathon will host an adult happy hour on Thursday, July 1 from 5-8 p.m. Special Harvest Squeeze Lemonade cocktails featuring Philadelphia Distilling’s Bluecoat Gin and Penn1681 Vodka will be served. Philadelphia Eagles Offensive Lineman Winston Justice will act as a guest bartender and DJ Jon Gill will provide music. The event is sure to be a success with the help of Nicole Cashman, President and CEO of Cashman and Associates.

Multi-Flow Industries recently announced their new line of lemonade beverages, branded under the Harvest Squeeze Juice label. With a tag line of “It’s about being Real!”, the line-up includes a Classic Yellow Lemonade, served still or sparkling as Limonata, a Pink Lemonade, and a Half Tea/Half Lemonade variety. All varieties are blended with Real Sugar, Real Lemon Juice and offer Real Calorie Reduction: 25% less calories than a typical serving. The Harvest Squeeze Lemonade recipes use a blend of real sugar and crystalline fructose, an all-natural sugar which allows for the caloric reduction without the use of artificial sweeteners. At least 30% of the profits Multi-Flow generates from sales of Harvest Squeeze Lemonade will be donated to the ALSF every year.

About Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation:

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott (1996-2004). 2010 marks 10 years since 4-year-old Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement, complete with thousands of volunteers across the country carrying on her legacy of hope. To date, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 charity, has raised more than $30 million towards fulfilling Alex’s dream of finding a cure, funding over 125 research projects nationally.
“We are extremely excited about these two new soups,” explained Sean O’Neil, Bookbinder Specialties’ Chief Soup Officer. “There is a strong demand for great tasting, healthy, restaurant-quality food that can be easily prepared, and a growing need for individuals with gluten sensitivity or Celiac disease. We adapted the recipe of two favorites to be gluten-free, with lower sodium, and no artificial additives, flavors or colorants. We believe these two regional chowders are an excellent step forward and expect to showcase additional new products at the upcoming Fancy Food Show in New York in late June.”
